Senator Dickson Speaks On Rift With Bayelsa Governor, Douye Diri
The lawmaker representing Bayelsa West Senatorial district, Seriake Dickson, has denied having a rift with the Governor of Bayelsa, Douye Diri. The former Governor of Bayelsa State said he deliberately distances himself from Diri’s administration to allow him to operate.
There have been claims that the lawmaker stopped relating with his successor because of some of his development and economic policies which he isn’t comfortable with.
Dickson in his statement said he is constantly in touch with Diri, especially on issues affecting the development of the state.
